Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were so disgusting and unlivable, with early twenty-century decor, though they did have a couch. I was frustrated by a note under the door saying we weren't allowed to park in the parking lot closest to our room for 2 days, leading to a challenging laundry day in the pouring rain. The service was a blend of extreme helpfulness and moments of stiffness. The location was great, offering plenty of room for private meetings onsite with a beautiful motif. The dining experience was very good overall. The facilities were acceptable but not exceptional.
The hotel has somewhat roughed up rooms with scuffed furnishings, making it a bit challenging to access with luggage and children. The decor reflects an early twentieth-century style. On the downside, guests may face inconveniences like having to park further away during bad weather, as I experienced when I had to transport laundry with kids and a dog in pouring rain.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were not ready upon arrival, had a stench and the heated indoor pool was freezing with no towels available. Despite these issues, the location was great with plenty of room for private meetings onsite, embodying the original mansion's motif. However, the dining experience was underwhelming with only one good meal available, but the cream cheese was excellent. The service staff was very friendly and helpful, ensuring the basic amenities were available, although they seemed overwhelmed. The facilities, though basic, were pretty nice overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The newly refurbished room I stayed in was smaller than expected and had a funny smell, located in the noisy annex behind the mansion. On the bright side, the service was very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The location offered stunning views but was marred by staff rudeness. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown with some spoiled fruit, yet breakfast seemed overpriced. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
The hotel had a funny smell in the rooms and was noisy due to its proximity to the entrance, making it hard to sleep. Additionally, being unable to park nearby was inconvenient, especially on a rainy day when laundry had to be done. However, the hotel's location was wonderful and the dining experience was excellent.
